How to: Collapse outline headings.
Solution:
Select a line of text preceded by a plus sign and click 'Collapse' on the 'Outline' toolbar.
1) From the 'Outline' view, select a line of text that has a plus sign in front of it.
2) Click 'Collapse' on the 'Outline' toolbar. (The heading level and/or text below the heading selected collapses.)
3) Continue choosing the 'Collapse' until only the heading originally selected remains.
